I have been MIA for the last two weeks, no worries...
I'm back! I have been extremely busy the past few weeks. Therefore, I decided that I was going to use this post to give a quick update about everything.
At the beginning of March I went home for the first time since Christmas. It was so nice to be home, I especially enjoyed all the home cooked food. My dad is the best cook in the world, or so I think. While I was home I went to see
Forever the Sickest Kids,
EKG, and School Boy Humor play at the Village. I haven't got to go to many shows since I have been in
Russellville so it was nice hanging out with friends from home. I went to see the new Alice in Wonderland movie in 3D. It was amazing. I had been looking forward to it since last year. Then on Saturday night my mom and I went to the
George Strait concert. I have been obsessed with George Strait pretty much since I could talk, and my mom loves him too so it was nice to spend time with her. The show was awesome. He had Reba and
LeAnn Womack as openers. It was a show full of amazing, talented performers. I also made time to do a little shopping while I was at home. For spring break, I am going on a cruise which gave me a reason for a mini shopping spree.
Last Thursday I flew to Austin, Texas for PRSSA National Assembly. I had so much fun, and learned a lot too. I spent the weekend in many meetings, but it was well worth it. I also got the chance to make tons of new friends from all of the US. Austin is neat city so it was cool to go somewhere I had not been yet. In my next post I will share everything about Austin, which is quite a bit so prepare yourself. I got back late Sunday night due to delayed flights.
NOW I am trying to get caught up with all my school work before spring break. I have so much to do in the next few days it's insane. Packing is going to be the hardest task of all. I am horrible at it. I am even worse at unpacking. I leave Friday for New Orleans and I haven't even started unpacking my bag from Austin. So i have to do that along with all my school work. It looks like Wednesday and Thursday will be super busy. Stay posted for my post about Austin, it will be worth reading!
